FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
It depends on the session:
- 15 min: 10+ hand-edited images
- 30 min: 20+ hand-edited images
- 45–60 min: 40+ hand-edited images
All images are professionally edited and delivered digitally for easy downloading and sharing. For shorter sessions, I can only guarantee 10 edited photos, but additional photos may be included if appropriate/available.
How should we dress for our family session?
Aim for coordinated, not matching, outfits. Neutral tones, soft colors, and subtle patterns photograph beautifully. Avoid large logos or overly bright colors. I’m happy to provide guidance or even suggestions based on your location and season! Most importantly, wear something that feels comfortable and like you!
How long will it take to receive our edited images?
Typically, you’ll receive your fully edited images within 4-5 weeks after your session. I’ll notify you as soon as they’re ready, and they’ll be delivered digitally so you can download, share, and print them easily. If your images will be ready closer to the 5-week mark, I try to send sneak peeks within the first week or two so you can enjoy a few favorites early!
Can we include pets or extended family?
Absolutely! Pets are family too, and I love including them. Please let me know in advance if you would like to include your pets so we can plan shots and timing accordingly.
Can we request specific locations?
For 15-minute and seasonal mini sessions, locations are pre-selected. For 30-minute+ sessions, I’m happy to discuss your favorite spots or meaningful locations.
What if it rains or the weather doesn’t cooperate?
Outdoor sessions can be rescheduled due to weather. I’ll work with you to find the best day with beautiful lighting and comfortable conditions.
